Hubby's cardiologist appointment didn't go too well. He is still in AFIB. The doctor went over his other health challenges - COPD, asthma, Rheumatoid Arthritis, etc. He has to go back in 6 months. He will be seeing two cardiologists from now on. 103 days until spring. What is going on with you? Breakfast - Peanut butter bar Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Cabbage roll, mashed potatoes, beets (Yuck!), scalloped apples, roll Dessert/Snack - Donut and decaf coffee Dinner - Corn dog What did you eat yesterday? Photo Credit: Mine - Our trip to the West Coast. The picture is the Grand Canyon from the airplane.

Sorry to hear your hubby isn't doing better. COPD is awful to live with. Asthma doesn't help. How are you coping?

@LadyDuck Not to be nosy; but how old is he? My husband is 81. He is 7 years older than I am.

My dad had Rheumatoid Arthritis, he had to go for injections once a month then I found out it's hereditary. I hope the doctors can help him find relief from all those problems.

@rebelann That's young. All the meds I've seen have bad side effects. I hadn't heard about injections for RA.

Oh, wow... that's not good. I hope they can do something for him soon. I go in this morning for my monthly shot... I'm getting it late this month. I couldn't see last week so had to reschedule it. Today, it's storming. I hate driving in a storm. We had to drive about 65 miles one way yesterday to Joplin, Mo. to Pretty's specialist there. We were exhausted when we got home. I ate two donuts and went to sleep for a couple of hours. Then fell asleep for a while when I was visiting on myLot last night... Then woke up and ate some chicken taquitos... I hope you and your hubby have a good day today.

Be careful driving today. 65 miles one way it a long way to go for a specialist. We are lucky that ours are all within, the most, 40 minutes away. Most are less than 1/2 hour away.

@LindaOHio I asked if we could get someone closer for her but they insist she's going to the "best" gynecologist in the area. My doctors are all within 40 minutes of us. (And actually, they're all within one mile of each other.)

I am glad your husband had the appointment to find out what is going on. I hope they can get his meds in order to help him. Thoughts are with you two. Amazing photo by the way, I tried to figure it out before reading.

Glad you enjoyed the photo. It was incredible to see the Grand Canyon from the air. Thanks. Part of the problem lies with him. I remind him all the time to take his meds; but he's really bad at taking them when he should.

Your hubby seems to be dealing with a lot of health issues more than AFIB, I hope him having two cardiologists will help with the AFIB Last night we had chicken, baked potatoes and mixed vegetables.

Sorry to hear that. I hope they can find a solution to get the AFIB under control, but I know that can be a tough thing to do. Best wishes. As for last night, we just had quick hot dogs for a late dinner. We had to take my mom's dog, Murphy in to the animal clinic and unfortunately he had to be put down. He was 16-years old which is quite long for a little dog such as he was. He was a toy Schnauzer. He was a big part of all of our lives and will be missed greatly. He will be buried most likely in our back yard next to Theus and Sneaky, our cats—unless my brother in law takes him to find a spot in their back yard, which may be the best option considering either by the end of this month or next month my mom will be moving in with them, so she would have a spot to be able to visit whenever she wants to.

So sorry about the dog. I know how hard that is. Hubs is bad about remembering to take his meds even though I remind him countless times a day.
