The Volunteer Green Ornament

Snapped a quick photo of the sunset from my deck. All clouds now. Funny thing is the big green inflatable ornament. See it in the photo?
This decoration has blown around in many yards in my neighborhood for about a week now. The strong winds we had a week ago blew it from someone's yard to our neighborhood. Woke up to this in my driveway last week. Then the wind took it away.
I have driven around to try and identify whose yard is missing the ornament. But I see no other decorations like this one. Kind of funny to watch it visit so many yards. And it is a nice ornament. Sort of like a huge beach ball.
Hopefully someone will realize it is missing and it will find its way home. For now, this volunteer ornament will continue visiting my neighbors it seems. Made me smile for sure.
Photo is mine.

@wolfgirl569 Somebody should just hang it in their tree. I might when it makes it way back in my yard.

@CarolDM I wouldn't be surprised if that's the case.

On the positive side, at least it wasn't one of those inflatable Santa ornaments

Oh gosh that would be funny to see it going to so many different places in the neighborhood. It would be funny if people took selfies with it and it went on it’s way to it’s next destination. Facebook is a very easy way to find the owners of things but I don’t think you like Facebook from what I recall.

I'm surprised no one has been looking for it but it's nice that it's been blowing around and visiting neighbors and bringing joy. I wonder how far it's traveled

Wow, that must be pretty sizable! Our direct neighbor is the only one who puts big ornaments in their myrtle tree - but her ornaments are the size of grapefruits. Windy days have often brought them to our lawn - only a few feet away. I hope the green ball has a wonderful journey then makes it way home!

I hope whoever lost it will find it again. Until then, it is nice that it is making its rounds around the neighborhood.
