It would be nice if they would stop jumping in front of our vehicles. My brother lost a job because a deer hit his work van.

I had heard about this. It is astounding that someone believes that the signs cause the deer to cross there. I think my deer was a dare devil, trying to beat me.

@GardenGerty Sounds like the small herd that lept over my son's car while he was driving down a long, winding, single-lane country mountain road.

@Chellezhere The bus driver I ride with hit seven deer in 2021. Four of them actually hit him, jumping over his mini van on an interstate exit ramp in Topeka, Ks.

It is a 2004 Chevy Venture. It has 170500 miles. That is considered low mileage for it.
