Isaiah 9:6 reads, "For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." Which of these names has Jesus been to you? For me, He has been all of them. My life would be pathetic ruins without Him. I owe Him my all, and gladly surrender to Him.

All of those, as well as prophet (“God will raise up a Prophet from among you like me, listen to Him” - Deuteronomy 18:15), priest (“We have a great high priest” - Hebrews 4:14), mediator (“There is one mediator between God and man” - 1 Timothy 2:5), and my strength and shield (“The LORD is my strength and my shield” - Psalm 28:7). Blessed is His Holy Name!
