So Much to Write About This Time of Year

As I sit here on my couch with the fire going, the Christmas tree lights on, getting ready to make an apple pie for a Christmas get-together tomorrow, I am a bit overwhelmed as to what to write about.
I love Christmas so of course, I want to write about that. But people really seem to like hearing about food on myLot. So I could write about my apple pie recipe. Or the brownies I am making in the morning. Of I could write about how much I love decorating for Christmas, etc. So I guess I will just be writing about all things Christmas for a few days. Maybe even next week too. I hope you don't mind.
I have to go make that apple pie now for a Christmas dinner with my husband's daughter and her family tomorrow. I use Macintosh apples because I think they taste the best in an apple pie. And in the morning I am making the brownies because they taste the best and freshest to eat on the day I bake them.

Here too. And it is SO cold. I was afraid there would be too much black ice this morning but the roads were fine.

Thanks. I hope the weather holds up and we can make it. It is iffy right now because we are supposed to have a lot of black ice tomorrow.

We made it there and back fine. The black ice seemed mostly on the very edges of the road.

You are right. Both the brownies and the pie were big hits! One of the grandaughters wants my recipe for apple pie. I don't know if I should let people know my secrets! What do you think?

I suggest food, meaning what you had for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Food is always such a bug hit in myLot land!
