I had a friend and she went to another city then we made a group of for girls and we were happy in the school. Its friendship of two years. Unfortunately, we 3 have seperated. We all took admissions in different college but two of them r in the same in college and be in contact with eachother. We do phone calls to eachother and in this way remain in contact with eachother.

I lost touch of my friend from school. I think my friendship with my hubby is the most important.

Believe it or not, my longest friendship is now going on 35 years now and it is with a person who once beat me up. She would be so embarassed if she knew I said that. We have always been there for one another. Through the exhusbands, babies, worries and tears. Our lives are so busy now. Each of us is caring for our grandchildren and it occupies most of our time. We will call each other up and talk for hours to catch up on everything. Few are the times that we actually get together for coffee and adult conversation. But, through the years and the many people that have come in and out, my friend Cyndi has been there through thick and thin. There is a saying, a good friend knows everything about you and loves you anyway.

That's wonderful! I'm assuming that she beat you up before the friendship started? LOL

I have only 1 friend whose friendship means the world to me...we first met over 20 years ago, bonded instantly, and even though we lived in different countries (due to her husband being in the army)for several years, we always talked on the phone, wrote letters, and remained very close. We now live only minutes from each other and neither would have it any other way. We have been there for each other through good times and bad, and she's the only one who can really keep me sane..lol...I will always be here for her as she has always been there for me all these years, and I just couldn't take being away from her ...other friends have come and gone, but none has lasted like ours, and I'm very grateful and thankful to have someone like her...we are truly sisters at heart
