My Two Therapy Cats

My fever has been spiking every night and often around 3:am for some reason. This strep throat and tonsillitis does not want to leave me alone. Brendel and the Dude are trying their best to help me feel better. They are waiting on me in the recliner when I get up, no matter what time it is. They seem to know my routine for the last three nights now. I had on my pajamas, two pair of socks, slippers, four blankets, a heating pad, and two cats. How could I still feel cold. That crazy fever. I have had chills with the fever as well. While I am at it, I will complain some more. Forgive me. Today I started sneezing. And it is never just one sneeze. A dozen at least. Something new to deal with. Makes my chest and throat hurt. But I know this too shall pass. I am sure many others out there have it much worse off. Wishing you all a good day. Rain headed this way soon and will last through the weekend.

Thank you so much. Appreciate your kind thoughts and information here. My fever spikes, then goes down. I just took it at 5:pm and it was up to 101.5 again.

I'm sorry you are sick, with strep throat and tonsilitis. Running a fever, often makes a person feel extremely cold. Sneezing, I had the same thing about two months ago, I kept sneezing about twenty time! Jay said to blow my nose, that didn't work. Your cats know you are sick, they are doing their very best to help with this! I had a tonsillectomy at 16, that cured my sore throats.

The sneezing sounds like you have caught something on top of the tonsillitis and strep. Here people are coming down with a few things at once it’s crazy. Covid, rsv and I cant think what else.

Aw, you have every right to feel down and complain a little. I never sneeze just once but at least 4 times. Are you taking something to help with your electrolytes as your fever will dehydrate you. (((hugs))) to feel better.

Oh you are having a very tough time! Aren't the medicines helping? Brendel and Dude won't be feeling happy with your sickness and must be trying to make you feel better in whatever way they could. God bless you all. May you get healthier soon. Are any medics available on call to help you?

Yes the meds are helping but it doesn't go away quickly, it takes time. No fever now for a couple of days. A good sign. Still weak and coughing. I don't need a medic but why are available if I get that serious. Thank you.
