2022 - What I'm Thankful for This Year

Too often when people look back on the year, they see only the bad things and how hard it was. Time to reflect on the good things and be thankful for all you have.
I'm thankful for the senior apartment complex I live in. I've made so many wonderful friends here. We get together for exercise, Canasta, potlucks, Bible Study, Prayer, and any number of other things I'm not involved in. The calendar is full of activities you can join in on.
I'm thankful for my children and grandchildren. I may not see them as often as I like, but I am thankful for them, especially when they call.
I'm thankful for good friends who encourage me and are there to give a helping hand when needed.
I'm thankful for Rock Painting every Wednesday at the ADRC. My painting is getting better.
I'm thankful for my church fellowship. We're a small group. The interaction on Sunday morning is wonderful. I continue to grow and learn more every week.
I'm thankful for myLot and the many friends I've met here. You are all wonderful and I'm so glad you're part of my life.
I'm thankful for the work I accomplished on Where Eagles Soar and Destination Love. I will publish both books in the coming year.
This is only the tip of the iceberg of all the things I have to be thankful for this past year. What are some of the things you are thankful for this past year? Thanks for reading. Happy New Year and may God richly bless you in the coming year.
The image belongs to me. My son and grandson on Christmas.

I am thankful everyone I care about is doing good. Nothing else really matters except those we love. Also thankful that white stuff melted away

Wish you a very Happy New Year 2023!
That is a nice capture !
It's good that you remember to be thankful for all these things.
I too am thankful for a lot of things. Yet for some things I sometimes feel a bit annoyed with God.
I am not sure if that is ethically right.
I take your thanking of Mylot friends as a part compliment for me as well!
I might say that I am thankful for some of the lessons that I learnt in 2022.
Certain things might have meant some short term losses but the learnings are likely to help.
I wish you all the best, especially for the two books that you plan to publish in 2023

Thank you.
You have much to be thankful for. One thing I learned many years ago is that God knows how you feel and doesn't mind that you're annoyed with Him.
