I had sadly forgotten that Barbara Walters has passed away. She was 93 and died peacefully on December 30th in New York. She was on the Today show in the 60s, wrote several books, did countless interviews with presidents and celebrities, and got several awards for television excellence. She started The View in 1997 and ended her stint on it in 2014. She did a lot for women in television.
They call her "The Queen of television".

She is definitely a person whom I have not always agreed with, but that I find is legendary without question, and on this we agree.
Well, lookie there. Remarkable woman who made an indelible mark in her industry that will never be forgotten and sadly missed.
