It took us both eons to decide on the name for my dream home. Solitaire seemed the right name as the meaning of Solitaire is a precious diamond A diamond it is for me as I had planned to design this house and it gave me a lot of satisfaction. But the guys out here specially those operating rickshaws call it the Glass House. We have many windows and that perhaps that made them give this name. I am not happy about it as even those close to me searching for the house said they were guided by asking them if they were looking for Glass House Have you been through this?

From what I have seen it’s incredibly beautiful no matter the name but I think of it always as solitaire from reading your posts. People know where I live by mentioning the pink house.

@allknowing I don’t have a name for it like you do. I think it’s a lovely idea though

Would you not have liked if the real name of your house became known to every one?

This is what the Internet defines it as sol·?i·?taire 'sä-l?-?ter. : a single gem (such as a diamond) set alone

The important is that who search for you find your home. We called our house Meridiana (sun-dial), because we wanted to have one painted on one wall of the house. We never did, but we placed a sun-dial in the garden.
