Such a Yummy Dinner

It isn't St. Pat's Day yet but I am enjoying this meal anyway. It is a frugal meal. Corned beef and cabbage. It s so tasty and so inexpensive. I like the flavor of the corned beef( I use the canned variety) and the cabbage together. The red potatoes cooked until they are tender have a unique flavor all their own. Then the soup is so nice and rich. This is easy to fix and so good to eat.
Do you have this on St. Patrick's Day?

I used to have it every year on St. Patrick's Day when I was married to someone whose grandparents were from Ireland. His mother made that meal every year and had the whole family over. I liked it too, but then because of high blood pressure issues, I can no longer eat corned beef.
