We are having to move into senior home and are having a hard time with getting rid of all our treasures, things that mean a lot to us doesn't really mean much to our children trying to find a place that will take some of these things is hard

If your children aren't interested, maybe your relatives are - cousins, nephews, nieces, grandchildren. Then after that, maybe offer them to friends and neighbors that you're close to.
