Me , Chinchin and our old house

I saw this old picture in one of my social media account. This photo is so old that it shows our house's old structure. It has a homey feels . Now they've renovated everything into an industrial design it doesn't feel ike that anymore.
It feels like we are always on the fast phase of life everyday. My cousin built his garage and everyday was very noisy. Renovation isnt done yet because of lack of funds.
To be honest I dont like the new look of the house, but I cant do anything about it. Mom I think isn't happy and contented too Im sure , its just that its her brother who convinced her to renovate the house without consulting a contractor and an architect for some advice.
Anyway, I am still thankful that we have something we can call home , we sleep soundly and safely at night. I just wish it can be done before some parts worn out .
Fellow lotters, how about your houses, are they built according to your liking?

The house appears to be huge and open, but I'm not sure how it looks right now. But I do hope that whatever you decide to do with your house, you always consult a professional so that you can make the most of the space and customize it to your tastes.

I agree with you on that , but my mom and his brother made the decision , the design now is okay its industrial design but its not yet finished as of now. My uncle is not a professional contractor or engineer and architect thats why I am not that at ease and we cant do anything because mom has already decided

@iKONICNoona That is acceptable and cost-effective as long as he does it correctly. Just make sure that the electrical connections are installed carefully since it is essential to have safe electrical connections in every home because improper installation could result in fires.

Yes maam, I am thankful that we have our own place where we can live , we dont pay rent and its a big relief too. What I dont like is the design when they are renovating. It has a different aura and feels , its not a homey feeling anymore .
