When Woke rights backfire

Slightly quirky one. The 'BRITS', the United Kingdoms biggest music and pop awards, chose to go a bit woke this year and have politically correct 'gender neutral categories instead of 'Best Male Singer' and 'Best Female Singer', the idea being the pronouns (trans people ) would feature in those categories in their own right.. But a soft smirk rippled around the press room when all the Best Singer nominees were read out and were all normal everyday blokes so the women losing out when before they had a guarantee in The Best Female to win an award chance. Be careful what you wish for wokeys!

You are right since the rule of life when I used to work in a pizza parlor was to "Keep It Simple Stupid." or KISS. Keep the two genders for any award shows period. I am glad that woke award show was a flop.
