The gardener missed my lunch. Getting ready.

It is very late. But I just ate a dish of picante de gallina with rice. Earlier in the morning,I had discovered that I had some cooked corn kernels and ate them as a snack. I have to eat as many leftovers as possible to have room for my leche flan.
The leche flan is now in the oven. The oven is already off so it is cooling there. I prefer it warm but I will not take a bite. I know that my cousin will appreciate that I made it for him.
I have not taken my shower yet but at this time, I think that I will take a nap first. The picante de gallina was better than it was yesterday. It seems that the flavors mix with time, specially the hot chili sauce. I almost went out for seconds, but I repented. I lost 20 pounds when I was ill and they have not come back. Now I only need to streghten my body. And that is not done by eating but by walking and doing work outs.
After my nap I´ll shower , dry my hair and take the old nail off my nails. Then I´ll put on the first layer of nail polish. It is a transparent one that strenghtens them.
I know that noone will see them but I´ll know

The picante de gallina must be delicious. I ate a while ago and I´m ready to take a break at home. I might go out and buy something for dinner. Leche de flan sounds good

In my country it is just called flan or leche asada. But people from Philippines call it leche flan because, I suppose, it was a dish that the Spaniards taught then when they were a Spanish colony.

@marguicha That´s interesting to know. In Mexico, we call it flan too. I like flan with rompope. It´s very common in Mexico to have it with rompope

Thank you for the update. I've only made flan once in my life; and it was quite tasty. Your cousin will appreciate that you made the flan for him.
