Keller Texas resident Peggy Wall is very happy that her class ring that she owned as a class ring from her alma mater Dupo High School Class of 1956 that she thought that she misplaced was found in a basement in a filing cabinet of the District Courts in Weatherford Texas
The class ring was used as evidence in a drug trial in 1986. The only clue that the authorities was that the class ring had the initials PW.
Parker County District Attorney Jeff Swain asked District Attorney Wendy Bravo to find the owner of the class ring with the initials PW by using the 1950 census where the name Peggy Wall who is currently in Keller Texas.
Bravo when she found out where Peggy is living returned the missing class ring as well as a ring from the United States Air Force that belonged to Peggy's former husband. It is not known is Peggy's former husband is alive or deceased.
Peggy was very happy to learn that her class ring that she thought was misplaced is now back in her possession at last when she reunited with her missing class ring earlier this week.

It was a lucky break that the district attorney's office used a census from 1950 to locate Peggy Wall.

@RubyHawkThat is true since I do not think that the district attorney knew who Peggy Wall is.

What a happy ending to a rather odd story.

Class rings that go missing are usually from a person losing their ring in a beach or on a road. Stolen rings stories are rare.

@Deepizzaguy .......Yes, and so sad to be lost. They probably have a lot of sentimental value for the owner.

Peggy was very happy to get her class ring back since class rings mean a lot to the person who possesses them.

I have heard of stories where people lose their rings in the ocean, sand or on a road but never have it stolen.
