I know that several people on Mylot are trying to lose weight and trying to find new ways to lose that weight. So I decided to supply a list of those foods that help the body to expel fat and might be ones these folks have perhaps overlooked. Here is the list:
* Apples. There are several types of apples. Fuji is a favorite of mine. They have about 95 calories and 3 grams of fiber. Fiber is important to help get remnants out of the body. The Honeycrisp has about 60 calories in them and 2 grams of fiber. The Fuji has ursolic acid in them which is a natural plant compound that may help in fat burning. You can eat them raw, make applesauce or slice up in salads.
* Asparagus, This one has a lot of fiber content and diuretic properties so it can help to shed weight. You can eat it raw and cut up in a salad or fix it as a side dish.
* Beans. So many different kinds like kidney, navy, lima, etc. They have vitamins C, E, and A in them as well as help with cholesterol, blood pressure, and blood glucose.
* Berries. These are high in fiber and low in calories. Win-win. These tasty berries also satisfy te sweet tooth.
* Cottage Cheese. This food has about 90 calories per serving and 12 grams of fiber. Foods high in protein keep you full longer and thus eliminate the possibility of overeating.
I hope this is of some help and you find something new to eat to help you in losing that weight.

I am fortunate to love everything on your list and always have. Things that help me feel full are very helpful in trying to lose weight. My personal ones that help me a lot is carrots. a good tossed salad, cottage cheese, and weirdly enough, old fashioned oatmeal. If I eat oatmeal, it fills me up and I don't want anything else for quite a while.
But we are all different. Vitamins from good foods are so important. Thanks for this good reminder.

So do I--but never instant, I think it's gummy and disgusting, so I just make the old fashioned oats. Oh...with a little brown sugar on top! ( Yes, I add the calories from the brown sugar!)

I'm surprised that cottage cheese has fibre.

It's a good choice of both protein and fiber.

The only thing I would eat on the list is the apples, but they would only spike my sugar unfortunately. But those are good foods for people who are not picky
