Trimming toenails is dangerous

Earlier this week we learned that Stacey @xstitcher lost her balance and wiped out on the bathroom furniture when she attempted to trim her toenails. Last night, after my bath, I attempted to trim my toenails, figuring they'd be softened up enough to be no problem. However... The nail on my right great toe had other ideas, and shunted the scissors off and into my left thumb. Yeeow! Bled like the dickens and is still sore this morning. So, remember kids, be verrry careful when trimming your toenails.

@BarBaraPrz I am sorry what happened to both of you. I trim my toenails and do not trim them so much so so far so good when I do it.

My toenails sometimes fight back when I try to trim them. It's not a battle I look forward to.

Ouch, that is not good. I remember when trimming toenails was easy peasy ...... not anymore, I am overweight so getting to the toes is not easy to begin with then trimming them is also hard cuz I can't really see my toes all that well anymore. Cheeeze, this gettin old thingy has it's problems don't it.

As Bette Davis is purported to have said, it's not for sissies.

She was right. To live to a ripe old age you have to be willing to live with becoming frail, it's part of the game more or less.

This is becoming more and more of a problem for me. I don't know how much longer I'll be able to continue.
