Weight loss and work events

I have a work event tonight with "heavy hors de vours" that I am nervous about.
For lunch I had a large salad with bacon, chicken, cheese, boiled egg so I am hoping that I do not end up starving before this event.
My goal is to have a little but not a lot which will be a change for me. Usually I would go to an event like this hungry and just use it as my dinner.
I got on the scale today and I was down 2.3 lbs so that is my win for the day.
