Weekend 28/29 Jan ' 23 : Simple Talk and some Blabber

Saturdays are my days meant for personal errands, Mall or Grocery store visits. I was expecting that I would have to go to a Government Department for some official work. However, I was able to apply online for that work. Yet when is the life predictable ! In lieu of that visit, came an implied directive to officially work on the weekend. It was a tedious task- not physically but mentally. Technically, only I had the skills to do it. Now this kind of a stuff can be a big ace for one. Yet at times, the lack of a proper backup can be quite tough, as that could mean longer working hours or extra work on the weekends. Today the Sunshine was at its best and 22/23 C of Max was good for a nice walk. What worries me is the lack of winter rains, whose near absence could be bad for the water tables. It also signifies changing weather patterns. Apart from this, the debate on India's exit from hockey World Cup is stil under heavy discussion. Now there is a talk to revive the position of the Chief conditioning coach who helps with physical, mental and psychological stress and demands. There was one earlier but he was not extended after the Indian team's Bronze at the Japan Tokyo Olympics. Had an extra cup of tea at night and now about to sleep. Have a nice Sunday ahead!
