My First Internet Friend

This is a photograph of my first friend that I made on the internet. We met on a site in 2000. He and his family live in Germany. Since then we have exchanged Christmas cards and occasionally we have sent gifts to his children and they have sent to my son. Now all of the children are grown. We have talked on the phone and visited online through something like zoom. We all hope that we can meet someday. Have you made any friends online ?

Gee, don't they look picture perfect? I hope you do get to meet. Have they ever been to the US? How long did you live in Germany?

They’ve never been to the USA, but they want to come. I lived in Germany for 11 years. Unfortunately I left in 1986 before I met them.
