I've been getting all kinds of unexpected packages in the mail recently. I know who they're from, but they are "just because" gifts.
Last week, I got a package from the Wacoal company with a bra and four pair of underpants. They are my favorite type, and I have needed to replace those, which I had to throw away that were no longer in good repair. It was so thoughtful for this person to purchase them for me.
Today, I received a package through regular post with several things in it. One of the gifts in it was a mug. I've already washed it and have it filled with a cup of coffee.
The sentiment it shares is so appropriate, especially on the eve of Honey's passing. Had it not been for her, I might never have opened my heart up to another animal.
Thanks to "you-know-who-you-are" for the special surprises. You touch my heart in so many ways.

@TheSojourner they're good surprises. Wacoal is an expensive brand here, been longing to have those. looks like the mug comes from an animal.welfare club. Just guessing.

I have been wearing Wacoal brand panties and bras since 1997, when I became a bra fitter and working for The Bon Marche ( now Macy's). The style I love is the Embrace Lace, and it has never disappointed me, whether I was 180 lb or 260 lb. Of course, the sizing change for me, but it was always a great fit for me. Even some of their other styles didn't quite fit me properly, but I'm so glad I learned what I did from my year as a bra fitter. I put people in bras of all styles and brands giving them a better fit. Most people don't know what they're supposed to wear.

@florelway you can go directly through the company, and they often have great sales going on. It's still expensive, but it's well worth it, especially if you hand wash.

@TheSojourner Most bras here especially the local brands won't give you a good fit. I had one wacoal brand before which I bought on sale and I was happy with it. It lasted years with me. Looking at it's price now I will have to save on that one pair before Christmas lol.

It is nice to get little gifts, though it's not necessary. I also like to give little somethings to people now-and-again.

@aninditasen I am the eldest of five. I have only a relationship with @SonjaRae . Our youngest sister and I are now on speaking terms again, after several years estrangement. The other two--a brother, and another sister--and I do not have contact any longer.

I absolutely love the company. If you've read through the thread, you know which ones I like the best, for me, but they are a wonderful company. Just make sure you know through a fitting ahead of time, exactly what size you wear. So many of us wear the wrong sizes until we finally get fitted.
