Got some "bad" news earlier.

About thirty minutes ago I got a message from our friend's mom. To catch anyone up, we have a very good friend who had a heart attack around thanksgiving. Made a pretty good recovery and then suffered a stroke about 2 or 3 weeks ago. After suffering the stroke, he has been pretty much non responsive. He had a very bad infection, was put in a ice bath because of his fever. He also had seizures. Well he has been in the hospital since, and there have been good days and bad days. And I hadn't heard from his momma since Saturday so I messaged his momma earlier to see if there had been any changes. I always feel so bad for asking, because I figure if there was a change she would message me. I was expecting to hear that he hadn't had any changes, but the news I got when she messaged me back wasn't great. His neurologist doesn't think he's going to get any better, so they are going to move him into a nursing home in the next few days. While I have seen miracles happen in my almost thirty three years on the planet, and there could very well be a miracle in store for him as well. It's not the news we wanted. So if you are a prayer, keep them in your thoughts and prayers. His mom is going through it, as you would expect her to. This has been really hard on her, and the next few days are going to be really hard on her. He's only thirty eight. He's way too young for all he is going through.
