Got the Editor's Notes

My editor actually emailed me his notes on the manuscript for my next Kindle Short Read on Sunday. I didn't look at them until yesterday. I will say this, he is thorough. I was glad to see there were few grammar or spelling errors. However, he had lots of suggestions for tightening up the narrative, fleshing out some scenes, and deleting data dumps and word count builders. Getting the story out by March 1 may still be possible, but it will be a close thing. That's my week so far. How is yours going?

@thislittlepennyearns I know the feeling very well. Letting my first book go to publication was like watching my first son go off to college.

I used to love the editing part almost more than the actual writing. Making a piece that what it started out as is a great buzz.
