31 January - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today was a good day.
I'm thankful I was up at my usual time, 3 AM. I'll probably sleep in tomorrow since I'm still up.
I'm thankful I didn't need to go anywhere today. Temps reached -22 below zero wind chill. Right now it's 4 F with a feels like of -6. So, it's getting warmer. Tomorrow will be a different story. We'll still have bad wind chills, but I'll be out more than in tomorrow.
I'm thankful I got my Bible study done this morning along with my games before I ate breakfast.
I'm thankful I worked on Destination Love, Where Eagles Soar, and the study on Daniel I started a couple of weeks ago that was supposed to be for the church I was going to. I still want to study it out.
I'm thankful my friend who took me to her church on Sunday came for a nice visit this afternoon while she did her laundry across the hall. We talked about many subjects and I gave her some trivia questions that I put together for our church picnic this past summer. She did a lot better than the members of my church.
I'm thankful for all the steps I got today. I have well over 7000 steps on a 6000-step goal.

3 AM ! you are a really early riser ! It was a nice surprise that a friend came by and you visited with each other in the cold days !

Sounds like a good day, minus the cold weather. Ours was about the same. We are ending the day at 11 degrees, but not sure what it feels like with the wind chill. I hope this is the last of the negative temps for the winter.

It would be nice not to see negative temps like what we've had today. However, it's not the last of the cold weather. Winter isn't over yet.
