First walk of the day and then lunch

Cooper and I took a 30 minute walk for a total of 1.71 miles. That's approximately 2.75 km, for those who don't want to find the conversion rate on their own!
There will be more walking today, but that's a good start for the morning and my first walk for the Taji 100 that I mentioned in my earlier discussion today.
When we came in, I made Cooper his breakfast of kibble and topping, and now he's back to snoozing on the couch.
I used some leftover rice, and made something to eat for my noon meal. I had only drunk coffee this morning.
My ingredients:
Leftover basmati rice
Green onion tops
Chopped celery
Roma tomato
Pouch of albacore tuna with lime and Thai basil
One teaspoon olive oil
Black garlic, salt and pepper
I did just a quick stir fry, heating up of all of the ingredients, and then adding the tuna on the plate. I also ate up the last of my Caribbean red papaya.
Photo is my own

@TheSojourner It was quite chilly. Not sure what the temperature was, I haven't been out since but it's colder now. Hope we don't have a freeze tonight.

@RubyHawk I was just out for another 30 minutes. I got another 1.55 mi in today, so I'd like to go out for another 15 or 20 minutes after I make dinner. I just need to make a habit of this.
It was a little warmer this afternoon, but it is still chilly. Tis the season!

I wondered if that was papaya!
I had coffee this morning, and then some of the leftover turkey/cabbage/mushroom/celery/cheese casserole that I made last night.
I was just talking to one of the household members about walking more, particularly walking 100 miles in a month (inspired by your post from earlier). She told me that she just signed up for a 1-credit, online-only hiking class with the community college and is going to be walking trails a lot more this month, and that she'd love a walking partner. Looks like I have more incentive (and accountability) to do so now!

That is wonderful! And check out what I sent you in direct message. Go ahead and sign up for the tracker! We can be accountable to one another, and those miles you put in with her, you can log!

@spiderdust You're welcome. I hope you will sign up. And then when you do, look for my name, and it'll show you which team I'm on, and I think you can join.

@LadyDuck I think the smaller ones have a funny taste to them. Hard to describe.

When I lived in Hawaii, I didn't care for it, and they were plentiful. They were the smaller variety. This Red Caribbean has a much different flavor to me, and I enjoy it.

@TheSojourner The red Caribbean is the one I like. Often here we receive the small yellow ones, they are tasteless.

@TheSojourner I know right! The moment when the realisation hits me.... Wow. It's just, wow. You'll notice the difference. Maybe not in weight, but the mental, or the peace, the emotion

It really was quite nice.
If we lived next door to one another, we could pool our leftover resources to feed the neighborhood!!
