Ending the day with a total of 3.66 Miles

It is nearly 9:00 p.m. and I'm about ready to go upstairs, jump into the shower, and get ready for bed. Cooper is already conked out on the couch. We ended up with three walks under our belts, for a total of 3.66 mi/5.89 km today. The last walk was a short walk of only 11 minutes, and not quite one half mile. I have already recorded everything on the Taji 100 website. Walking is not always very fun with Cooper. I like to be able to get a good clip going, but he is more intent on smelling and peeing on everything. At some point, I'm going to need to get some of my longer walks in without him. I'm happy to say that I got my garbage been down to the curb. I nearly forgot about that this evening. I am going to wait to clean up my kitchen until tomorrow. I've stacked everything, but I just don't have the energy to get it done tonight. I will try again early tomorrow morning and start my day with getting it done. I also want to strip the top of my stove and get it taken care of. I hope everybody had a good day, and that you sleep well. For those of you starting your Thursday, I hope you had a good night sleep and are well rested. And now it's time for me to head up to get ready for my bed. Good night! Photo is my own
What is this Taji 100? Why exactly are you on this mission called the Taji 100? Why do you want to push yourself so hard? These questions, and many more, have...

That's a good distance! Hope that made for a good sleep that evening. Cooper is doing the doggie thing . . . but I know that's stop and go, stop and go, stop and go for you.

I really have issue with that with him. I'm going to have to start doing more without him.

@TheSojourner I think it's good that you have together walks - and walks on your own - nothin' wrong with that .

We see a lot of people walking their dogs past our place and the male dogs especially all have to stop and sniff time and time again.

I know about that. I don't remember Honey ever being quite so bad.

@TheSojourner It's certainly the males that do it more.

I see that all people walking dogs have to stop often to let them sniff and pee. I hope that today we can go out and walk. Yesterday I walked through the hospital corridors a lot because I hate to sit in the waiting room with people coughing and sneezing. Walking inside is not pleasant.

That would be a bit disconcerting to me, too.

@TheSojourner Even if masks are still mandatory, I do not feel safe sitting in a room with sick people.

Right now, I'm just walking in my neighborhood, and yesterday, took a path down one of the dirt roads on the base, which doesn't get much traffic (cars or people)

@TheSojourner I assume it is more filled with nature. It would be nice to walk and observe even nearby places. I sometimes ride on a jeep (commute) a few kilometers then drop at a nice scenic place and walk a little.

I hope you rest well. It appears that Cooper already is! I am going to head that way shortly as well.

@TheSojourner Up and down, round and round...you know how it is sometimes. If only the mind could rest when the body is tired, but sometimes I can't make that happen.

Poor Cooper he just wants to sniff and look at everything around him. You should go on a walk by yourself.
