Today is Optimist Day . This is a relatively new celebration as it only started in 2019 when a cider company decided to celebrate a day of the year when optimists could get together.
As I do not like drinking cider I will not be celebrating with them today. I do try to be optimistic about things every day but sometimes anxiety takes over and I end up looking on the black side of everything.

@Icydoll I used to like cider when I was young, but now I cannot drink it at all. I don`t know if my taste changed or perhaps the cider producer changed their recipe and it was not so good.

@lazydaizee I have a very easy life really. It would be very ungrateful of me not to at least try to be happy.

@JudyEv This is nice to know.
I know people who have very easy lives but they still find time to complain about everything. I think that some people are never satisfied and they just want to be miserable and find fault with everything.

@lazydaizee If you liked zebras I still don't know what you would do in particular on one day that you wouldn't do any other day.

International zebra day would be interesting for people who like zebras. I like zebras but I do not think I could spend a day celebrating them .I have not actually seen many zebras only in zoos.
