Would you ask for a second opinion when you discover a health problem?

I went to a doctor a month ago. She found out I have some problems and I need a biopsy. Now I am not sure if I should ask for a second opinion. She gave me a treatment that was ruining my digestive system even more. I couldn't eat because anything made me sick. I gave up on that treatment because it was killing me. I am already underweight. I am not sure if I should ask for a second opinion. My therapist told me to stay in a hospital while I take that treatment. But who would keep me in a hospital for 3 months?

That treatment they gave you is no good ..terrible if it is making you that sick so sorry Diana.
I hope that some good medical professional can help you with this..it sounds like this is what you need.
Someone who actually knows.
