It's Groundhog Day! 47 days until spring!!! Well, I was right. The sewer people are going to have to dig up the back yard to find the problem with the water back-up. The guy came out yesterday afternoon and could not find any other problems. He feels that one of the pipes from the LAST TIME another company came and dug up the yard (many years ago) has collapsed or been compromised in some way. He will call back with an estimate. :-( However, he did manage to light the hot water heater. We now have hot water!!! What's going on with you? Breakfast - None Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Sloppy Joe, cauliflower, green beans, peaches Dessert/Snack - Cake and decaf coffee -- Hubs doesn't want any of the free cake that we got; so it's up to me to eat it. lololol Dinner - An apple and an apple cinnamon muffin bar What did you eat yesterday? What kind of food is Sloppy Joe? I've never heard or seen the term.

It’s a sandwich. It’s made of ground beef and a tomato based mixture served on usually a hamburger bun.

It is basically ground beef cooked up in a Sloppy Joe sauce which is typically tomato based. One of the more popular brands here is Manwich. A Sloppy Joe puts the meat mixture between bread and you eat it like a sandwich. They are pretty messy to eat, which is why they are called "sloppy." lol

I'm glad you've got hot water finally! More white stuff came down yesterday. I heard the plows going through this morning around 4:30 am. It looks like about a foot and a half piled up at the end of our driveway now. I'm glad we aren't going anywhere in the next few days. But it is supposed to reach 47F by this afternoon. I had steamed broccoli for breakfast, a sloppy Joe for lunch and chicken nuggets with French fries for supper last night. I hope it doesn't cost a fortune to dig up and fix the sewer pipes in your yard.

At least you have hot water. Ripping up the yard to find the problem will be many $$$$. Hopefully, they will find the problem very quickly.

@LindaOHio lol. I actually did a TikTok where in one scene I ran into the living room to tell the wifey we got our loan approved, and in the next shot I was telling the camera I was whipping up some scrambled eggs. lol

I had lunch with Jeff at Chuy’s. Dinner was provided by a “reception” at the hotel I stayed at. I got a small burger, which was very good for free food.

I bet you're doing the happy dance that you have hot water. But not such good news that they have to dig up your yard. Hopefully it won't be a huge undertaking. Last night we had spaghetti and meatballs.

I heard he saw his shadow, so 6 more weeks of winter. Isn't that true either way? 47 days is about 6 weeks! Sloppy joes sound good, depending how it is made. I may have to make low carb sloppy joe tacos.

I do not even remember what I ate yesterday. I bough some stuff to help clean roots out of our sewer, and I hope it works. It will cost upwards of $4000 to dig up our lines and replace them.

I will have a quote by 5:30 today. Do you use copper sulfate on the roots? That's what we have to use every 6 months.

Hip hip hooray! Now we need to get rid of the water in the basement. It's been 2 weeks. Things are floating around down there.
