We had a nice time camping

Hello everyone, Hope you are doing well. I have missed a little time here so going to try and catch up with things. The past week has been busy with work and getting things done around the house. I was cleaning up the camping gear from the weekend outing my sons and I had. Just needed to clean up and pack it all back away. The camping was a lot of fun, and we survived the weather just fine. It snowed very little on Saturday afternoon and the temperatures stayed just below 20F (-6C) for most of the weekend. Really not that bad for winter camping. We had our tent set up and the wood stove going pretty much the whole weekend, so we had the tent to fall back to when we got too cold. Of course this was not a way out in the forest kind of camping our cars were maybe a quarter mile walk if we really needed the warmth or had to leave in a hurry. We took a nice hike around the area, did a little ice fishing, and had some great conversations. We had some good laughs and enjoyed the getaway. We are already talking about getting in another one, possibly at the end of this month. This week has been getting back to work and cleaning up and letting everything from the camping trip thaw out. I was able to clean it all and recharge batteries and replace some of the things we used up. I packed it all away and it is ready for the next trip. I’m looking forward to the next one already.
