Saturday afternoon--Time for me ease on down the road

It's just after noon time and I'm getting ready to get out there and hit the pavement. It's raining again today, but I can't let that stop me. The nice thing about walking, when it's not on a treadmill or on a track, is that however far you walk, you always have to walk back. So, I'm going to head toward the Navy exchange and entertainment complex, get a tea at Starbucks and enjoy that, and warm up. Then I will take a little bit longer route home. At least, that's my plan. I cleared off everything from the landing of all the plants and the stands, and I washed all the ledges. RGD will shampoo my stairs. There are 14 stairs and the landing in between each of seven. It's not a difficult job, so he just told me to go on my walk and leave Cooper with him. I also need to start cleaning up the plants that are starting to get spindly and a couple of them are dead. That's going to be one of my projects this weekend and next week to get them all in order. I may have to purchase some potting soil, if I don't have any left in my garage. The miles aren't getting racked up with me sitting here, so I'm on my way. As they sang in "The Wiz," it's time for me to "ease on down the road!" Photo is my own.
