Doing some fish trade and gardening

Philippines
February 8, 2023 10:37am CST
I've successfully trade my two albino catfish with some pdert ( platinum dumbo ear red tail) guppy fish. The guppy fish is smaller and easy to take are of. The albino catfish could actually grow bigger so I trade with some one who has a fish pond. My brother has a fish pond but he declined it. As for aquatic plants I had to cut and replant the pennyworth plant, while I salvage the janitor fish that was left hiding in those huge round buckets. But I'm not done yet, there's one more tomorrow. I'm actually decresing the no. of fish I have. Getting tired of having so many fish I can't sell. Have a nice day

I decreased the number and kinds of fishies I raise several years ago when we moved into this house. I was raising fish for sale to pet shops but was tired of taking care of so many that didn't seem to sell well. Enjoy your day.

Hello @DaddyEvil What kinds of fish are you raising now? I used to have albino catfish, some crayfish and snails. Now, I just only focus on mollies and guppies. But most of my sale were from aquatic plants.

@Letranknight2015 Well, that's weird... I only had cherry shrimp die if there were too many in the same tank. Pdert guppies are always good.

It's a lot of work to keep up fish . . . whatever that makes it easier for you is good! How big were the albino catfish? Yah, they'd probably be happier in a pond - glad you found someone to trade with.

@Letranknight2015 You mean like 12 inches? (Sorry, we are artists here and we have rulers of many sizes ). Yah, I guess they'd need to be in a pond environment to thrive - too small in an aquarium.

It was the same size as the ruler @much2say but they can't stay because i don't have pond.

What you said makes sense. I am thinking of having a small fish pond installed in a garden. What fish would you suggest?

The albino cat fish sounds neat. That’s sad the fish don’t sell better.

It's not easy to take care of a fish pond, you need to be very disciplined for it.

If you can't sell the fish this is a very good idea. Less fish on hand to take care of and less money.

Hello @aureliah It was supposed to be just that. Until my brother introduced me to the guppy and they start producing like crazy.
