The drain guy will be coming this morning. I hope this is the last person that needs to come out because of the water in the basement. This has gotten SO expensive.
36 days until spring.
Breakfast - Oatmeal square
Lunch - Cabbage rolls, sauerkraut, mashed potatoes and Lima beans
Dessert/Snack - Cinnamon muffin
Dinner - Oatmeal square
What did you eat yesterday?

If only myLot money could be enough to cover the expenses. Hang in there.
For dinner I made a "classic" dish, but I don't really know what you might call it. I usually take round steak and strip it, brown that up a bit. Then I add in onions, mushrooms and green peppers and cook a bit. Then add in some minced garlic and broth, Worcestershire sauce and soy sauce, salt and pepper, oregano and Italian, stew that for a while then add in cooked rice and serve.

Sounds good. Our expenses are not over with. They will have to dig in the back yard.

@porwest After the fiasco of the last aborted trip I know hubs would never attempt to drive down there again. We are going to be limited to a few hours' drive and 2-3 day trips.

@LindaOHio Keeping my fingers crossed this is all behind you very soon, and DO consider hiking out to the Keys.

@LadyDuck The drain guy also found a blockage out in the yard. After spending all of this money, we will still have to have the yard dug up. :-(

Plumbing and HVAC are very expensive. Let us know how it turns out. I did not eat enough yesterday. We will eat more today. For my break at work I had a Kansas City Chiefs themed cupcake.

What a great photo, I love otters they are so cute, I made myself a full meal with what I had. I cooked rice then sauteed it on a pan with salted butter, some spinach, and diced tomatoes and added some chicken nuggets. It was delicious,

No. After the big flood we had some years ago (there was about 10" of rain and the area was declared a disaster area), they wouldn't give us flood insurance. "Oh, it won't happen again."
