Fad or Fashion?

Today's offering is a very unusual one. Kylie Jenner was seen out and about at Paris Haute Couture Week in this striking lion dress. Designed by Daniel Roseberry, as expected it sparked a lot of controversy. Many said that it encouraged poaching and hunting and some thought it was real.
Ladies what do you think about this dress? Is it something that you would wear? Gents what would you think if your wife/date wore this dress?
My question is: What is keeping this dress up? It's a strapless gown. That head must be heavy....

If a date showed up dressed like that, I'd "mysteriously" be feeling ill and cancel the date.
Why would anyone think that looks good or is in good taste?

@LindaOHio Yeah, I agree... Some people crave all the attention they can get, good or bad.

Celebrities wear the craziest things. Things that make us say "what were they thinking?"
But because they are celebrities they get away with it.

@wolfgirl569 I can't figure out how the head doesn't drag down a strapless dress.

Why not just wear an entire lion costume? The dress is nice but that lion head thing ruins it.

The dress, bag and shoes are cool. The lion head was just for the attention.

The dress would be fine without the lion head. Even if it is fake.

It took a brave designer to put out something like that. I'd be afraid of being laughed at!!!

Well for me, it's a fad. And those who go against it may be right unless that lion is fake.

I don't like the dress, I like the elegant and feminine look. While the lion is more of a dashing figure.

This is not fashion but can be termed creativity because it's different and stands out. I pity that to look different and create a buzz she has to wear these clothes.

The stupidest and scariest thing I have ever seen. Yes, it is like encouraging people to kill animals,

If I were a designer, I'd be embarrassed to put out something like that.

I certainly wouldn't wear that dress with a huge lion head on it. The lion would get more attention than me
