Amazon not displaying product details

So I am browsing Amazon using Chrome. Find an item I want to look at. When I click on it and get to the item's page a message appears at the top: We're sorry, an error has occurred. Please reload this page and try again. And then above the "add to cart" button I get a message that says: Our Price: To see product details, add this item to your cart. You can always remove it later. Adding the product to my cart doesn't allow me to see product details. It just tells me that the item was added to my cart and I can proceed to checkout. And refreshing the page doesn't give me product info either. Very frustrating. I have to copy the product's page URL and paste it into Microsoft Edge to see product details. Anyone else experiencing this issue? And is there a way to fix it?

That sounds like a device your using just wasn't connecting correctly. It happens with tech from time to time. No to big of an issues just got to change place your using or wait till the big is fixed because tech isn't prefect it's as good as the person who wrote the coding on it.

@lovebuglena I don't use Chrome, I have bing or Microwsoft for my internet browsers or what every my husband put on here. Lol.

I use the Chrome browser on my laptop. Not the first time I've experienced this.

I'm only using Amazon app and that's really frustrating . Hope your issue will be resolved.

I used to use the Amazon app but I had to delete it because I needed to free up space on my phone.

I haven't had this problem at all. I use Mozilla Firefox. Maybe you should try changing your browser?? Have a great weekend.

It seems to work fine on Microsoft Edge but I don’t use that browser. Shouldn’t have to go there just for amazon shopping.

I have never had that problem, and I use Amazon often. I can always see the descriptions, etc. I will have to check, but I was on Amazon last night looking for something and I had no problem with this. Hope it is soon rectified for you.

@MarieCoyle thanks. That is weird. My chrome is up-to-date so it should work fine. I wish I knew what the problem is.

I just now had a chance so I opened Amazon and even on items in my cart, I can still see the descriptions, ratings, and so forth. Maybe it is your device?

Never happened to me before, Sounds like a glitch of some sort, When I have trouble with a search engine I also try Firefox and also use Vivaldi. I have sometimes experienced problems on sites and then switched and had no problems
