Off we will go, another trip to Wally World, the affectionate name for Walmart. It is going to be a nice day today, so we decided to trek out a bit farther a few towns over to Waterloo, Illinois and spend our dough at the Wally World there.
Got a list of items we need that we regularly buy there, so it's a worthy trip. Plus, hey, we own stock in Walmart, so it's almost like we are paying ourselves back in a backwards sort of way.
Hopefully they will have clumping kitty litter. There has been a shortage of that for a few weeks now, and while we do have a backup we had to get at Schnucks, Walmart's Special Kitty one is cheaper.
Oh, that reminds me (don't ask how that segue occurred), I have to add Rain-X windshield washer fluid to the list.
Yeah, it's more expensive than all the other stuff, but ever since I used it, I will never use anything but Rain-X windshield washer fluid. The stuff is amazing. It causes rain to bead on the windshield and you hardly have to use wipers.
At the same time, I keep kicking myself in the butt since I have over $50 worth of reward points for Walmart gift cards from Bing Rewards I keep forgetting to print off—I usually do it at work since my printer at home is out of ink and I don't want to pay for it.
How often do you shop at Wally World?

I haven't shopped at Wally World in years. I kinda got burned out on the place after being a manager there for 7 years.
Speaking of shortages, have you noticed if your local stores are having a shortage on corn starch? We can't seem to find it here anywhere. Every store seems to be out of it.
The rubber piece on my driver's side windshield wiper finally wore off yesterday, and since we had bad storms coming, I stopped in to buy new windshield wiper blades. I couldn't believe how ridiculously expensive they are now, so I only bought one instead of a pair (my passenger side one seems to be holding up well right now). Anyway, there was a coupon for buying the Rain-X wiper blade, so I went with that. I swear they must coat the rubber portion with Rain-X, because the water on my driver's side windshield was beading but the passenger side wasn't.

@porwest I didn't realize it until recently, but my daughter puts Rain-X wiper fluid in her car. I first noticed it when we were driving to Disney World on Thanksgiving, and it was raining. The water hitting the windshield was just swooshing away. Never once during the drive did I have to turn on the windshield wipers. I'm convinced that stuff is amazing.

I can't become burned out if they have some items that are simply the best price anywhere. Not ALL things, of course. But when it comes to certain items they ARE the cheapest and so I almost HAVE to go there.
Never noticed any corn starch shortage.
As for those wiper blades, they do coat them, and I tell you, that Rain-X washer fluid is the bomb dot com. And you won't find me willing to pay more for much of anything, but that stuff is just awesome. Worth every penny.

@moffittjc That's definitely a quality of Rain-X. You barely have to use wipers. It just beads and rolls away. Amazing is a good word for the stuff.

I am usually at Walmart about two or three times a month. It depends what's on my list that I usually get there. I time all of my shopping around what I need to stock up on and who has the best price, and I keep very good track of that not wanting to waste a single penny.
Doing things this way I never run out of things and I never am forced to pay more than the best price for any of it.

Hope your trip to Wally World is productive and profitable for you. I'm happy to say that I usually do a pick-up every two weeks so you're welcome for my contribution to your stock

I used to use RainX on my motorcycle helmet, as you say it causes the water to bead and run off. And there is a link - I just used an old stocking filled with cat litter to absorb the condensation in my car, so now I no longer have to scrape ice off the inside of the windscreen!

We go at least once every 2 weeks, sometimes every week. I have a list of things for hubs to get. I may have him do a pickup.
