Today's "Fad or Fashion?" Discussion is about some red boots that are supposedly Hot! Hot! Hot! To me they are Not! Not! Not! They look like something Mickey Mouse would wear.
These red boots went on sale on February 16 for $350. One person said via Tweet: "Cartoonishness is an abstraction that frees us from the constraints of reality". A Tik Tok video showing the styling of the boots received over 1/2 million likes and over 3 million views in 24 hours.
"How much I need these NOW", said an Instagram follower.
What do you think about these boots? Would you wear them? Guys, what would you think if your significant other bought these boots for $350?

I would not use them even if they were given to me. I take care of my feet. And I would throw them away. I don´t have room for that in my closet.

First, I'd ask if the money to pay for them came from my account or hers and if it came from my account, she'd be returning them. If it came from hers, I'd be giggling every time she put them on!

It's a shame that people who have money do not know what to do with it. SIGH I wish there was a place online where I could say if you have nothing to do with money from 100 to 500 please put it in my Pay Pal account I will be eternally grateful,

They look crazy. It's going overboard with some crazy fashion. No matter how much they trend as hot and trendy thing, they will never be my thing.

Sorry, not buying any shoes for $350, althought I bought orthotics to go in my shoes for $250. Worth it though because I wear them every day. This image you posted looks like part of a video game.

F@ck those red boots lol They're a trending craze. Well, if you're a celebrity or influencer you probably can get away with wearing them as a statement piece. But for ordinary people like you and me, its not something that I'd pull to wear and get dressed up with everyday. I've got no practical use for it haha. Would I go outside to buy something wearing those oversized jumbo boots? Its not something that a typical person can wear everyday of her life for regular activities. Clearly more for aesthetics than function. But it made me laugh seeing that monstrosity hahaha
