Do you miss Ballroom dancing?

I think there was class in those dance moves be it the waltz, fox trot or even cha cha cha to name a few.
Do you recall the last dance which was always reserved for the 'one and only'? And do you also remember the polite ":May I" when some girls would just for that gesture.
As for me each time someone said 'May I" I would say no thank you as I wanted my first dance to be with my husband but my husband never danced (lol) And now because of my restricted moves I cannot dance but considering they are solo dances I have attempted them sometimes when I could.
Today's dancing I think is more like trapeze acts mostly done in groups or single.
What is your choice?

@allknowing I know one song on the piano, I can dance the box-step, and my Spanish has grown beyond being able to read the menu at a Mexican restaurant.

I do not miss, because I never went to a ballroom dancing. I know that my husband did before we met. After we met we only danced together one time, we were invited by friends and we spend a crazy evening and a whole night going to dinner first, then dancing and then going to the beach to wait to see the sunrise.

I made this proclamation that my first dance would be with my husband whoever that would be but then I did not know my husband never danced and that was the end of my dancing (lol)

I can do ballroom dancing, but never went to one specifically. Hubs is a wonderful dancer and we dance wherever music plays and dancing is allowed. I've danced with many males over the years on dates, parties, weddings, and because they cut in while I was dancing with hubs. I was the last one to dance with my husband's brother before he passed away one month later. He was so grateful.

@allknowing For a long time, we didn't have the opportunity. We have been thinking about starting again.
