A hairy flower?

Purple hairy flower!

There were a lot of these pretty purple flowers on a pitted plant on the balcony in the home where were staying for the weekend. It's a beautiful flower. But what caught my attention was this fine hair like covering that was gently present all over the flower. It added a touch of uniqueness to this flower. I have no idea what flower this is. Google gave me a bunch of suggestions. Do you know what it is? It's also an awesome color isn't it!

It is very beautiful but I don't know what it is. We have a wildflower that is very similar. It's called a fringed lily.

@sallypup Yes, it's one of our wildflowers. It's not very big. You can buy the seeds and plants now but they started off in the bush.

It's very pretty but I've never seen one like that before. And yes, I can see the hairs on the flower. I hope somebody can identify it for you.
