A friend had brought three avocados a long time ago. I did try to like the taste of avocado but I have still not got to like it. I did use them in salads and sowed the seeds in the garden Two came up and they have now grown into healthy saplings. May be in a couple of years' time they will start yielding and by then I hope I will get to like them. I will have to look for recipes that have avocados as one of the ingredients. Do you like avocado? Any recipe in mind?

I believe I found one recipe for a smoothie that I liked. The way I eat them is I toast bread, mash the avocado on it then sprinkle heavily with Italian seasoning and basil. I cut Cherry tomatoes in half and stick them all over the top of it and that’s how I enjoy mine. I have eaten it twice the last two days.

@allknowing hmm you can make an Italian seasoning using a few different ingredients I did it for a recipe but I’m not sure what the ingredients were. Maybe you can find a recipe for it online?

Thank you. This could be my recipe - only thing missing is the Italian seasoning - any substitute?

I like them and have a salad recipe that I use them in. Mostly I just have them 'as is'.

@allknowing Usually here, they blend it with ice and add condense milk. Not sure about adding sugar though.
