It is "caturday morning"

My cats are confused, I am not going anywhere. a lot of times even on Saturday I am up and out the door. Our little ritual/routine is to give kitty treats when we leave and when we come back to keep them from going out the door. Promptly at 7:12 they were waiting for me by the front door, as that is around the time I leave for work. We are on Spring Break this week and we will not have to go anywhere like work. Oh, and lovely daylight savings time, "spring forward." Bitty and Bruno will be so confused. They will want their treats anyway.

@GardenGerty When we moved here I had a big white cat. She was not the nicest girl and thought she could care less as long as she had food. We spent about a month working on this place so wasn't home except at night for all that time. She got very loving when I finally brought her here and she was with us again

@RebeccasFarm It is a relief. He is so much bigger than she is, but she can be a real pest.

that is funny they are so routine with their treats. I may or may not have given them treats if it were me. Depends on the mood I was in I’d think.

I do not treat them terribly often but it is how I keep them inside. So a few treats on the far side of the room and I run out the door.

@GardenGerty my husband uses feeding time as an excuse to run out the door without them sometimes.

Will they get their treats both times anyway? Inquiring minds want to know.

Yes, they will get a second round of treats later. Bruno used to get about a half cup full every night as a feeding. It is not good for his weight. This way is better.

Dogs and cats have an amazing internal clock. They hate to have their routines changed.

We would use our internal clocks better if we did not have government helping us.

Yes, and they do not need a clock or a phone to tell them about it.
