How much do Cigarettes cost where you are?

I'm asking this because
The other day
The Chancellor of the Exchequer raised the price of my nails in the coffin by almost £1 on a pack of 20
Making an average cost brand about £12 per pack.
Too much for me so guess what
I bought a vape.
And this time I will keep at it and not buy any more cigarettes

Lol and have said it every year up until now.

Good question, too bad I don't know. I don't smoke. Maybe I should ask my mom and my brother. They are both smokers. I am not. Not good for allergies or asthma as well as not so good for kids. Then again secondhand smoke is way worse than firsthand smoke.

@JimBo452020 We have over 3 million people in the world there is no way then almost everyone has smoked or smokes. if you want me to agree with you then you better go find me some stats on that fact. Yes, I can read that you referred to 1972 my parents where children at that age. Which is why I referred to my own 60-year-old mother. that has smoked all of my life.

My daughter pays $7.26 for Camels. She has been smoking since she was about 12. She is going to be 52 this year. Has tried to quit several times.

Well the price has gone up considerably but compared to that price you said..ours are cheap.
$10 average per pack of 20 cigs here.

Well I wish that I had never started smoking that's for sure.
Our government has always targeted smokers.
Raises much tax.
But methinks they should ban cigfies and save our health service billions because there would be next to no lung cancer around

I don't smoke, but I know they can be hella expensive.
My dad eventually quit (smoked since he was 15) but too late. He passed away in October. Perfectly good lungs if you can believe it, but had bad vascular issues. You will save money (and you) if you stop!
