Happy Paddy's Day to you all!
I can smell the Corned Beef and Cabbage cooking from up in my room. Smells so good. We may have to get a loaf of French bread to go with it. Here we can get warm(right out of the oven) bread at Albertson's. And, ice cream sounds good. We might even go for lime sherbert just to have something green. Not sure.
What is your plan for Friday night dinner on St. Patrick's Day?

I made corned beef with carrots, potatoes, and onions. No cabbage for me. I have it heating up as I don't know how to make it for just one person. I have a lot of leftovers. I might finish it off tomorrow.

@celticeagle I do too. I wished I had it on low while I was gone this morning. It would be ready by now. Instead, it's stone cold and won't be ready for a couple of hours yet.

Absolutely nothing, I don't celebrate anymore but I still enjoy Irish music, I used to enjoy corned beef and cabbage but do not make it for myself,

We didn't have anything special. Meals on Wheels was non-meat due to Lent. The day before we had corned beef sandwiches from MOW. We have made corned beef and cabbage in the past.
