Green Is the Garden

This garden is in front of the mental health place nearby.
They really do take care of the place.
This is in the little patch in front as I said, but in the back they have little wishing wells and picnic tables for serenity for people coming in to appointments.
It's very nice and soothing.
Do you have a place where you can get peace like this garden?
If not, make a space if you can somewhere however small, just for you.

Luckily the view in our house is nice, we built our house on high land- we always enjoy the overlooking city and overlooking the vast mountains and ocean

That's a peaceful place to be. No, I don't because the city where I lived is highly urbanized, But when my sister comes to visit me, we travel a few miles away from the city center in a spacious area where there are lots of trees, fresh air, and quiet. This place was actually a previous American air base, now converted into a Filipino one, so there are lots of open spaces and quiet places away from the din and rumble of the busy metropolis. This escapades happen once a month or sometimes only once in several months, but it's enough for me to rejuvenate my mind and spirit.

We absolutely all can find much to thank God for. It always amazed me how much Helen Keller was able to accomplish.
That's such a pretty garden, very peaceful. I guess our quiet place is our screened in shack out back.

That garden is definitely green. Mine is still winter ravaged but a few things are starting to peep up. Unfortunately, it's still trying to snow.

It's nice to hear that a facility like that has a serene garden - I do think it's important to have a welcoming and peaceful area for all who come. We don't have the nicest looking garden in our backyard, but at least I can take a seat and sit under the sun in peace

We have some nice nice nearby off the ocean where I sometimes take a walk around it. Very peaceful! I really enjoy riding my bike through this town where the lake is located and looking at the old and new homes. These people have big bucks and reside in a really peaceful town. Very therapeutic OT.
Yes, good quote. We always complain about our misfortunes yet there is always someone who is much worse off shape. But we complain anyway, don't we... part of the human condition I guess.
