What do you think a good way to save money?

what ideas you have to save money ? someone said if you save 40% from your salary then you can save money and get rich by time, what about those who have low salaries how they can save 40% of their money and if they save it will be small amount? what do you think?

Save what you can.
Everyone is different.
Not everyone can save at the same rate.

We still need to spend money but we can all stop buying some of the things we don't need to help us save

@amalha Making your own personal budget can help. If you write down the amount you earn then the money you spend on bills, fuel, groceries, pets, family etc, anything that you have to spend money on, write down the amounts, and then figure out what you have left. Keep some aside for entertainment or emergencies. And then use the money left over as the money you now save.
It's also worth it to see where you can sacrifice spending money on and learning about different ways to save money on things. It's really up to you where you see this all fit in your own budget/s.

@amalha That is true. It's a tough one to answer as people's income varies and have to take into account what they need their money for. But there are so many ways to save money. Once you learn what's best for you, then it can start to work out for you.

Its really hard to save if you’re salary is just enough for basic needs. So, I think that 40% is not applicable to everyone. For me , to save, we have to look for another source of income.

yes 40% from the salary it depend on the salary of each person , because if he salary is low and a person want to close bills and buy basic needs then to find other source of income is good idea too but it is not easy to find it depend on the place and the available opportunities.

I think that we are all different and we should save what we can. We should not compete.
