The hard crust on each side as I love to slather butter on it and chomp it fresh out of the oven.
Do you like the crusts of bread?
This is a small Irish bread as my big bowl that I use to mix it was taken up with something else, so I used a smaller bowl.
Have you cut the crusts off then?

Oh, wow, I haven’t had fresh out-of-the-oven bread to cut the crusty ends off and slather in butter (or garlic butter). Sounds delicious! I can almost smell the bread baking!

It is so easy to make Four Walls. There is no yeast or any rising time needed, only flour, baking powder, a bit of baking soda, and a bit of oil and buttermilk. Takes only 35 minutes baking on 375F. You can put raisins in it too or caraway seeds. Lovely.

I don't care for the crusts on regular white bread, but I love other kinds of chewy, crispy bread. How do you make that Irish bread?

@1creekgirl I just watched the video...very entertaining and definitely something I want to try. Especially since it doesn't need yeast. I'm intimidated by yeast.

I am getting the aroma of the fresh bread from the oven.
. And slather butter on it..I love extra butter.
It's been long that my daughter has made a bread. I would ask her to bake one once she is done with her Music exam next week.

@RebeccasFarm The regular simple bread ( with all purpose flour or multigrain flour) that we use for toast and sandwiches. Sometimes she makes banana bread if we have over riped banana. She also bakes pizza bases from scratch.

@RebeccasFarm up until about 10 years ago I still tore the crusts off my store bought bread loves and threw them away. Once in awhile I still do but usually rather than waste food and have it fill up the landfill I eat it.

Yes that is right technically as it ruins the shape of the bread, but I do not care, as I get so greedy with it
