I'm not very good at art and craft, normally do some when my daughter comes home from uni, we have dye dyed t shirts and made marble pictures last time she was home.
I like to do a little bit of knitting, I can only do plain/grater stitch, and don't have time to follow a pattern so I am just knitting a scarf in a mixed colour wool. I only do a few rows every night as then I'm bored. Have fifty stitches on my needles. It will take me all year to finish the ball of wool. When it is finished I shall give it to the church I go to for the shoe box appeal, so its for a useful cause.
I am also doing some what they call french knitting with a cotton reel as I enjoy doing that, it will be another all year to finish the ball of wool. When I have finished the ball of wool I will donate it to the charity shop and someone will curl it round and stitch it into a big mat or small rug.
It's a win all round as I get to do a little bit of knitting and I then give it away for a useful cause.

I knit for the fun of it for mostly myself and my family. Right now, I'm doing book theme squares to make a blanket.
I also write which I've seen from one of the comments you made. I'm looking at doing my own resin book makers.

@AnneW21 The color of the cover whatever the main color of the cover is what the square will be. Knitting isn't that hard it's pretty easy. Oh yes. I'm sure I'll read more then 23 books and I've read 15 so far. Yes, sometimes I pick a book theme for the month and read based off that. This month it seems to be orc romance. April I'm going with Aliens since that is the next on my TBR outside of a list of other books, but I'll read several of them if I can. Depending on how main books I don't read I use black.

@ShyBear88 I'm only on my fourth book this year so far. My aim every year is to read at least 52.Last year I read 72, and this time last year I was starting my 14th book, so a long way behind this year, it will pick up soon and I will read loads

None a the moment, but I do like something like paint by number. I am not good with my hands as in knitting or crocheting or anything like that.

You can buy some lovely card kits, I hav seen them on the shopping channel.
I bet your cards are wonderful, made with love and just personal for each and everyone of your friends and family.
I have kept cards my children made for me when they were young. They are priceless

That sounds fascinating. I can't knit. I tried and I just couldn't do it.
I'm working to get a book published. When I get this one published, I have another one I'm working on publishing this year too.

Oh that's nice, your good in knitting. The only I loved is sewing a crosstitch but it's my sideline so that I can buy some milk and diaper when I'm little bit younger. I have 1 son that time but now I have 2 kids already.

No I'm not that good at knitting, after a few rows I get fed up but just like to do some at times so I came up with this idea to knit a scraf, will take me all year and as I don't wear them I'll donate it to the shoebox appeal and someone will get some use from it, the same with the french knitting.
Where do you sell your crossititch?
I have four children al grown up, glad you are following me on here, hope to have lots of good chats with you. I'm meant to be sorting the food shopping money out and making a shopping list!!
