Well well
A miracle has happened.
I have baked something that appears to have been done quite well.
Baking is not my gig but I followed the recipe step by step and yay for me success.
Got to use my new food mixer
Oh , just bitten into a piece of the cake and it's maybe.a tiny bit less moist than I had hoped it would be but Ive eaten many worse chocolate cakes than this.
Yvonne says it's good, high praise indeed.
Must do a post about the new food mixer.
Maybe about the new microwave
And the new television
Went on a spending spree lol

You can make a syrup with orange juice some water and some sugar. It's good enough to make the cake more moist.

@JimBo452020 If Yvonne likes, change nothing. I made Black Forrest cake yesterday, it's good, the decoration not very professional, but we are eating it and it's really good.

If my cakes in dry ever again I shall remember this tip Anna.
And I could well have to remember it
Yvonne was too loilte about the cake to begin with.
I saw her face whilst she was eating it

Just to show Yvonne it wasn't all about me and my new bike.
Bought a new smart TV.
She loves it

Not really.
If.you look real closely you can see where it's a bit rough where it sticked to my baking tin.
Yvonne said I should have left it a bit longer before taking it out of time
And she says I should buy a tin with a pushy up bottom lol

@JimBo452020 What phone did you get? I am in need of a new iPhone. Still have not done anything about it. Even my mom pestering me about it didn't help.

Spending sprees are good. I went on one myself, got a new teapot and a new mini-washer. Can’t bake chocolate cakes in either, though, so you’re definitely the winner.

Something not quite right with the cake.
If I had bought it I would have returned it.
We need a new washing machine soon.
Or maybe just a new door seal lol
We don't even own a teapot

Oh yes.
Spending money on Yvonne is the best feeling in the world.
She didn't ever have much before we met.
So I do maybe over compensate for that.
Have been over compensating for 25 years
