Good morning on this beautiful Wednesday morning from the Pacific Northwest.
I've been up this morning for a couple of hours. RGD is here this morning, as we must get samples from Cooper to take back to the veterinary clinic this morning. They were unable to collect from him yesterday, while in the clinic.
I had my cup of coffee, and just made breakfast for RGD and me. We each had three (one serving) chicken breakfast sausages, one egg, a small banana with a few blueberries, and a slice of toast with butter.
We have been extremely busy this week. RGD has seen the cardiologist. I have had certain appointments.
Cooper went to the veterinary clinic yesterday for his complete physical, including all vaccinations, blood work, and his nail cutting. (That will be a story in and of itself later.)
I did spend some time with a friend on Monday for dinner, and then we met yesterday to "hang out" and visit a couple of thrift stores.
I have been a bit remiss in any longer walks this past six or seven days. I need to get back on track here shortly.
Nothing major planned today. RGD will head back to his place about noon.

It's fun to just go out and look. I did get a couple of things. Found shoes in my size that were brand new. They are my favorite canvas shoes, which are the toms shoes.

@TheSojourner That's good. I never have luck with shoes. But I do like when I find something that I want or need.

@velvet53 I wear a size 11.5 narrow. And, at nearly 68, I don't need heels.
Even tennis/athletic shoes are difficult for me. Most of the size 11.5 or 12 are too wide. Size 11 isn't long enough.

I missed my exercise in the last few days due to my periods. I plan to get back to walking from tomorrow.

Sounds like a good day on Monday and on the teaching day.
I really am looking forward to the hikes soon. The one I want to go on at Green Mountain won't happen until it warms up a bit. It's 38F here today (Saturday), so it's a few degrees colder up there, and it's storming up there today. I just hope it stays dry here this weekend.

Ah yes, the annual vet visit. I'm sure Cooper just loved that. Chilly hates the vets. And, he's vocal about it. Good you got all your appointments done, too.

I wish I knew whether Cooper hates them or not. He's so social with people that I think that it's not nearly as bad as his screaming lets on.

Thank you for sharing it! I love it. And I'm glad that you do.
All is well with cooper, so it seems. We're just waiting on the labs. He did give them a big run for their money at the vets yesterday I need to write about it.

It's fun. At one time, I found a LeCruset dutch oven, but it was $29. I didn't buy it. Of course, nowadays, I wish that I had it. LOL

@much2say it's not so bad once you get acclimated, and the mild temperatures in the spring and summer are wonderful. But when it dips down below 40, I like to stay in.

All of us are as well as can be expected. It's been worse, and it could be better. We just get up every day and are grateful for another day. And we try to remember that we are living, not dying of anything.

It seems to be a very tight schedule that you are working up to. However I wish you a good luck in all your doings and may you accomplish them in your best terms possible. I would be somehow very busy starting next week.
